NEW SOLO EXHIBIT

You are invited to view my new solo exhibit, The MountainThe Color of Black and White: Portraits and Figures, at the College of Marin where I teach watercolor. The exhibit runs from January 7 to March 25, and the reception, with refreshments, is from 6 to 8 pm, February 11. Doors are open from 9 to 5 during the weekday, excluding holidays - take your chances on their being open at lunch time,12:00 to 1:00.  In this exhibit, I explore relationships between people of darker and lighter color, providing a thought provoking set of images and positive outlook on race relations. All paintings are watercolor except for one, which is painted with water-soluble oils. My largest piece is approximately 4' x 5' of stretched watercolor paper over canvas, which was exciting to paint so large!

Directions: Take the San Rafael or Golden Gate Bridge toward Marin. After the San Rafael Bridge, take the Sir Francis Drake Exit and follow it for a few miles (under freeway overpass and beyond). After the Golden Gate Bridge, follow the exit toward San Anselmo, which merges you onto Sir Francis Drake. Take a left onto College Avenue and then a right into parking lot #6, near the Police Headquarters of the College of Marin. Find a box that requires you to pay a parking fee with quarters. Near the police section, you will see a small bridge not accessible to cars. Walk across this bridge and look to your left. The building room to enter is #148 and is called the Emeritus Lounge, located in the Student Service building.
